Our engineer connects to the car's battery management system through the diagnostic port and runs a full state-of-health readout.

Straight answers.

How long does a test take?

About 20-60 minutes per car, done where it's parked. Your certificate is issued the same day, usually in under an hour of the test.

Which EVs can you test?

Most major makes: Nissan, Tesla, Kia, Hyundai, VW, BMW, Renault, MG and more, including plug-in hybrids. Tell us the exact model when you book and we'll confirm coverage before you pay anything.

How accurate is the result?

We read the pack's own battery management system through the diagnostic port, the same data the manufacturer uses, then sense-check it against cell balance, fault codes and known baselines for that model. What we certify is the method: same instrument, same procedure, every car, run by a party with no stake in the sale.

What does it cost?

A single pre-purchase test is from £99, certificate included. Dealers can get volume rates on multi-car visits.

Does the car need to be charged?

No special prep. Anything above roughly 20% charge is fine. We'll flag it when you book if the model needs more.

Where do you cover?

The East Midlands: Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Further afield by arrangement. Multi-car dealer visits usually justify the trip.
